2016 TREDS TRAININGS

The Virginia Highway Safety Office (Traffic Records Program) is providing TREDS training in August/September, 2016 at the locations listed below.  The training will focus on the electronic submission of crash reports using ReportBeam, review and approval of crash reports in TREDS as well as an introduction to new report and map functionality now available in TREDS.  

This FREE training session is open to all law enforcement officers and trainers.  Each training session can accommodate 20-25 registrants; therefore, registrations will be accepted as received until the classes are full.  Training will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM, including a lunch break (on your own.) 

In-service credits will be awarded for the training.

Send an email to Linda Ebel (linda.ebel@dmv.virginia.gov) with your name and law enforcement agency contact information.  Please specify which training class you will be attending.

  • August 26, 2016:                     Hampton Roads Criminal Justice Academy, Newport News
  • August 30, 2016:                     Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, Ashburn
  • September 1, 2016:               Henrico County Training Center, Henrico
  • September 15, 2016:             Rappahannock Criminal Justice Academy, Fredericksburg
  • September 21, 2016:             Southwest Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, Bristol
  • September 22, 2016:             Roanoke Police Training Academy, Roanoke
  • September 23, 2016:             Central Shenandoah Criminal Justice Academy, Mount Sidney
