NSTRC — Small Checkpoints
Are you with a small police department?  You don't think that you have the manpower to make effective use of sobriety checkpoints?

Take a look at the new study by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The report entitled, "Low-Manpower Checkpoints: Can They Provide Effective DUI Enforcement in Small Communities?" may cause you to reassess your point of view. You can find this document posted on the NSTRC web site at www.sobrietytesting.org in the Library and Information Portal section under the heading, "Low Staff Checkpoints."
